... and they're driving me crazy.

Loghead was supposed to sit down with Princess17 WEEKS ago and begin working on college applications and FAFSA stuff. I found out just a few days ago that her top choice school needs the FAFSA and a health form completed by FEb. 15 for their deadline. Since then, I have said to them both daily that they need to do it. The 15th is President's Day- a federal holiday. If we're going to get it out in time, they need to mail by Thursday. Luckily, she was able to get to the clinic in town today for the TB test the health form required.

We've all been snowed in together since 2:30 Friday afternoon. It's 10 pm and there is STILL NO PROGRESS. I wish I could say I wipe my hands of this one, but it's a free- tuition school, based on financial need and students work on campus to pay their room and board. She's already jumped three hoops, including acing the interview. These last few steps and she could be in! At no cost to us for 4 years...

Also Princess17 caught me looking at prom dresses on ebay this afternoon. She told me not to worry about it this year, cause Loca Grande wants to buy it this year. (I found a $200 dress for $6 last year, so we went with my dress- which of course pissed off Loca Grande, put was PERFECT for Princess.) I didn't say anything to Princess, but I can't imagine her mother pulling through with the cash when the time comes. And I can only imagine what god awful thing the two of them would choose! They looked together last year, and Princess took pictures of the process. She looked like she was going to stand on a street corner... (Princess has borderline personality disorder, and the person she is under her mother's influence is WAY sluttier than when she is under our influence.)

And Loghead made PITA come home from the in-laws tonight. After we talked on Saturday about how more peaceful the house runs when one of the skids is gone- it doesn't matter which one, any of em. PITA was not happy. He's been home less than 2 hours and he's already argued with Princess and LazyBoye. I'm glad Gibby was already asleep.

I'm watching school cancellations run on the screen... I'm kinda hoping I can go back to work tomorrow and they can go back to school...
