If anyone read my post earlier today, I was freaking out because I might be pregnant...

Well, I took a pregnancy test on my lunch break today and I'm pregnant. That damn test said it could take up to 3 minutes and it took about 30 seconds for it to say..."hey lady, you're knocked up"(I used a stop watch...I am a fruitcake)

Holy Crap!

I thought I was freaking out before, but wow, nothing compared to this. My hands are shaking as I type.

Hubby doesn't know yet. I'm not sure how he'll react. We want kids, but the timing wasn't quite right. I *think* he'll be excited, but what if he's not?! Oh poop....

Any advice on how to break the news to Hubby? I was thinking about just handing him the stick I peed on lol.

aaaahhhh!!! How exciting! I don't have advice on breaking the news, but wait till you calm down a little. I'm not sure if the timing is ever quite right for having babies, but you'll make it work. Congratulations!

I think how you present it to DH is very important. With mine, I went out and bought a figurine of a pregnant woman and wrapped it up and gave it to him. I think he knew before he opened it, but now it sits in our living room as a reminder of the joy of having a baby. Even if it's unplanned, it's still an amazing experience!

When you did that, did your DH knew that pregnancy was a possibility? My DH knows I'm late.

Yes, he knew it was a possibility. He still enjoyed being "told" that way.

Congratulations!!! I don't know of anyone who ever finally reached "the right time". It will all come together. I'm so excited for you!

Congrats!! You made me try and remember exactly how that went with me and DH...and I guess he was there both times that I tested positive?! Never had to break any news...but how fun for you!

I knew posting on here was a good idea. Your ladies' excitement is making me less anxious and more excited. Still anxious though, but that's par for the course with me.

Hi everyone. I am still fairly new here but this is a happy thing to comment on!

I bought a pair of baby booties and gave them to my husband and said we are going to need these.

Congratulations to you!

Congratulations!!!

With my first son, we did not plan him, so I took a test when we realized I was late. So I kind of just came out of the bathroom and blurted it out. With the one currently in my belly (due any day now), we were wanting another one, but didn't expect it as soon. I took a pregnancy test, and I also just blurted it out (as he was reading court documents regarding the custody of my SS, which he later won). He was kind of like, "huh?". Needless to say, I sucked with my delivery of the news with both pregnancies!

Enjoy this incredible time in your life. This is so exciting!

Hi, wow this is very exciting!! I am sure DH will catch it too!!!!! Congratulations Smile

I just remembered. Your DH should be able to file for reduced CS since adding a non-joint (with the Skids BM) child to the formula should change the CS ratios.

Good luck and best regards.

Thanks Rags. I'm hoping they'll reduce the child support too. I'm guessing that will have to wait until the kid is actually born though right?

AWWWWWWWWSOOOOMMMEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't be surprised to hear people say ( when they see the pregnant belly)..." So, what have YOU been up to?" When would people would say that to me I would look at my belly and then at them like, " Uhhh, guess?"

LOL!

Congratz!
