It shouldn't be this hard

Quick background: my DS17 does not live with me and DH, but my DS19 does. DH's kids both left; didn't want to follow rules or cope with "new" family. Neither of us asked them to leave; they left.

So yesterday my DS17 is with us and wanted me take him to a park; but his brother was going to the same place within an hour. So I told DS to wait.

Also, I've been really stressed b/c SS22 is graduating from college and all of DH's family is coming to stay over at our place for the graduation. Ugh. I'm not digging that b/c I'm kind OCD with cleanliness. So DH is mad b/c I'm stressed.

ARGUMENT: DH was talking to his sister on the phone. So I asked if she was staying over for the graduation (he has 5 siblings). He answers me and says what my problem is with that. I told him I had no problem (i don't have a choice; they're coming, period). He says, "why are you going to be mad, That little bastard will leave and then you stay mad at me." He was referring to my son; his point was that if was mad at my son, I shouldn't take it out on him b/c my son would then leave to his dad's.

It was stupid. However, I get sooooo tired of these little fights; then he comes back and apologizes and want to make up; kissing me and hugging me. I hate the cycle. I can honestly say it's about every week it's an argument about something stupid.

I'm not a bright person when it comes to relationships, but I think I need to change this situation.

ah yes the crazy cycle. It's misplaced anger and gets down to who is the "easy" target or scapegoat (usually SM and HER bios)
