Long Time No Blog
Hey guys. I don't know if anybody remembers me. I was active for a while around 2 years ago. Last time I posted was around this time last year and I was 36 weeks pregnant at the time.
Just wanted to drop in and say I had my little boy, and he's amazing. I've been raising him by myself so far - SO is still with his family in his home country. There have been some delays. It totally stinks.
SS got in touch with me last holiday season and met his little half brother. SS is still troubled and has dropped out of touch with me since then. I don't know if he'll be coming to his brother's first birthday party next month or not. Heck, I'm still on the fence as to whether to invite him!
Me and DS - can't believe I can finally use that one! - are doing just great.

I remember you! Holy cow your little boy will be ONE year old next month? Where does the time go? I'm really sorry your DH is still out of the country. Sounds like you are doing well. If SS hasn't been in touch with you, there is no need to invite him to a party. Your son won't even know the difference.

Thanks - yeah, time flies doesn't it? We're doing great. It's been hard, and I'm really proud of myself. Regarding SS I actually did text him and tell him that if he wants an invitation I need him to send me an email address. I haven't heard anything - but then again I don't know if I even have the right phone number. It's only been a few hours though. I didn't do it for SS, or even SO - I did it for DS, just in case someday he looks at the pics of his party and asks why his brother wasn't there. It won't be my fault LOL!
