Hey guys

I haven't been on the site really at all in quite a while. Last I posted was in January right after SO left on an extended trip out of the country.

Just wanted to let you know that so far I'm doing fine, my pregnancy is progressing well, and I found out last Monday that I'm having a little boy!

I'm already over 20 weeks - he's due in early August. SO probably won't be back by then. I don't really have family local either. So I'm really on my own. But I'm doing fine. I just want the baby to keep growing strong & healthy, and we'll deal with whatever else comes.

Finances are a worry because SO isn't able to help at all from where he is, so it's all my income. Nerve-wracking, especially when looking ahead to infant daycare. Hopefully SO will be back before I have to go back to work full time - but that's all up in the air since my leave proposal, which includes starting back partially from home, is still in the approval process. And I can't afford any unpaid leave, so I really don't have a lot of time. But I'm taking one thing at a time.

SS16 is still not doing well. I don't hear much about it. SS hasn't contacted me at all since SO left except one time to ask to come to the house and pick up some stuff of his. BM still calls SO, even out of the country, to bitch about SS and tell SO he's supposed to do something about it. She is really useless. I'm wondering whether SS dropped out of school, since the one course I can see isn't showing any test scores in over a month. That seems a little odd. But it's no longer my issue at this point.

I'm just taking care of myself and the baby.
