Unfortunately my relationship with my BF didn't make it, partly because he basicaly told me he would always be the Disneylad Dad and I wasn't ready to be the wicked stepmom. But there were other things in him that I found out in time that where not ok with me. Some say I'm too demanding, but that's the way life is. My life at least.

But I didn't come here to complain about my life. Last night I saw something on national TV (I'm Portuguese) that made me think of you all! It honestely made me smile and tear up.

There's a Tv show, that also exists in many other countries that is called, translated, "Come dance with me". This season the show suprised the contestants by bringing their parents to dance with them. It's a laugh seeing all this parents trying so hard to keep up with their dancer kids (addult kids :)). And a lot of really love showing too.

There's one couple that consist of a male dancer (19 yo I think) and his stepmom.

I don't know the full story but it is wonderfull to see those two practising and dancing together.

The host asked the dancer what the contest changed in his life, after they danced for the 2nd time. He said: "Now I know she really has my back".

They won yesterday too, and it was really great to see the warm hug they exchanged and the thankfull look on the dancer and the stepmom's eyes.

I just hope this warms your heart as it did mine.
