New here
I really don't know where to start since I am new here. I am glad I found a place to talk about things from my perspective. Well I guess I will start with this:
My bf's ex I have watched and picked the pieces up with the kids for five years now knowing that she cried in the court room how she couldn't live w/out her babies yet CHOOSES to live in a different residence with the latest bf/husband to be although she won custody for at least the last nine months. I have watched her scream and cuss at her daughter over trivial things, be critical constantly, call her a liar and shitstarter when her daughter comes to us w/ concerns. I so believe that family services should be involved but their dad does not want to put the kids through that which I understand but at the same time don't feel it is a healthy or safe environment. His daughter most recently said she is afraid of her bf when he drinks so she just stays at her grandmas where technically she lives (w/out her mother). Her brother is happy being wherever there are video games which is no better.

Sounds like what we go thru.
Sounds like what we go thru. BF too scared to call Protective Services b/c they may put kids with the state. I know BM would start accusing us of abusing them (already did that once) or claiming we are drug addicts....I can't afford shit like that with my job.
These fathers are only hurting the kids by hiding.
I have no advice but I understand where you're coming from. Sometimes it is better as the SM to just detach from the sitch, as hard as it may be.
Sounds like you guys need an
Sounds like you guys need an attorney. seems like the BM is only keeping custody for the child support. If the kids are in harms way you have the right to have her investigated. And if the BF is worried about his kids he needs to do what he has to and get them out of the situation. the state will place them with you guys before they put them in a foster home.
For what it's worth, Texas
For what it's worth, Texas OAG site states a custodial parent can request cs IF the child lives w/them...might want to check your state laws...also, anyone can call cps.
