It's going to be interesting if this happens

BM (and mil) better get ready...
I read in the paper that the school district is considering online classes for all students this upcoming school year.
BM doesn't work so this shouldn't be a problem. She just has to commit to her kids instead of the outings with boyfriend.

Remote learning last  school year was not fun for them. SS would throw fits, mil would blow up SO's phone about the behavior, BM would hide in the room instead of parenting... It was very stressful to hear the arguments and the yelling because SS was essentially in control or trying to be in control of mil's house.
I doubt much is going to change this year.

Meanwhile those of us with young kids separated from our husbands have to suck it up indefinitely. In my case its looking like 1 year that me or my 3 & 4.5 yr old  will get to see my husband. We have to parent everyday even when we are losing our mind.

We don’t have the luxury of hiding in our bedroom

Is there no provision for members of international couples to be allowed in to the country where their partner is? My DH is Canadian and we live in the U.S. - the U.S/Canada border is closed, but I could still go with him to Canada if we had to, but I'd have to quarantine once I got there. They will let in family members of citizens. Can't your DH come into the country and quarantine?
