Scary
I know my SO thinks I'm crazy, but this is the shit that terrifies me. Given that his 16 year old is more than likely a sociopath, I can see him snapping one day.

It's sick. I can't even figure out how I want to live the rest of my life with this fear. Because I don't think he'll ever outgrow it.
Whenever SS11 has a bad day
Whenever SS11 has a bad day at our house (ie. getting yelled at for breaking something/hurting BS6 (accidentally)/poor attitude), I always want to hide the knives! He lives in a "rough" area, and he's gotten violent before - with kids who live in his townhouse complex, with BM's BF and even his own sister - so you never know what could be going on in his head! It IS scary, but it still doesn't give them an excuse to hurt people!
