SD I understand you are only 2 and have some *minor* speach delays but dear buddha child, must you WHINE about EVERY.LITTLE.FRIGGIN.THING?? Sister shows you toy? Whine. Baby sister standing in your walkway? Don't walk around! Whine. Something on your hand?? Don't wipe it off...whine!!! Gah its like nails on a damn chalkboard!!!

I have been a member of this site for over a year and explored much of this site for weeks before I joined. I joined in an attempt to find a safe place for me to express my frustrations so they would not negatively affect my family, to receive help/advice, and support during the trying times that is being a step. But I am quite disappointed in many of you women that are much older than me. I am disappointed in the lack of support and personal attacks that I and others have endured.

My sd4 is a liar. She lies about EVERYTHING!!! From hiding a jar of pb in her room and not eating dinner b/c she is filling up on the pb to if she had an accident to hitting her sister right in front of me. She lies constantly. Even when she isn't going to get in trouble for telling the truth, she still lies!!!

When I was growing up (I'm only 23 lol) if I talked back to my parents, steps, or any adult I got my teeth handed to me. Now I did endure a lot of abuse but wtf happened to respect?? Kids these days have no respect for their elders and it really irritates the hell out of me. If my kids or skids were to curse me or tell me they hate me it would take everything in my power not to backhand them immediately. There seems to be no consequences for this dispicable behavior exept time outs or for the step to disengage... wth?? These kids need a good ass whippin with a switch that they pick out.
