Shout out to SD16 and SS19, if it wasn't for them I would have gotten zilch for Mother's Day

DH has been working out of town, but offered Sunday AM to take DS12 to the store to get me flowers, stuff to make breakfast, etc.. And he couldn't be bothered. DS14 said about 10 words to me.. We went to the store yesterday evening to look at plants and I started crying in the car on the way down.. DH was pissed. When he got home he yelled at them how ungrateful they are he thinks I am special, etc. DS14 stayed in his room didn't say anything.

This is totally new behavior, we usually have a great relationship and they have wanted to do stuff for Mother's Day. Saturday we were all at a neighbors party had a blast.

Life is going to change for them. I didn't like my mom that much as a teenager but I still respected and honored her. Heck I even sent her two dozen roses for Mother's Day and she called blubbering to thank me. Even sent some to ex MIL from me and the boys.
