It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

Okay I'm new here and totally lost with the DH and EOW and DD and stuff like that would anyone mind taking a quick second to share with me the knowledge of what exactlly I'm trying to read? thank you!

My side of the story

I'm new to this site and really all I'm looking for is advice and a place to tell my story. My family won't listen, my so called friends don't care, and I don't know who or where to turn to. So here's my story. I met my now fiance in Feb, this year. He had a daughter who at the time was 9 months. I think I honestly fell more for the baby then him.
