This will be the 2nd weekend that we have skids on her week. And I really don't mind they are good kids (for now). We have joint EOW custody.

BM is currently going through a divorce, which she clams is because ss9 told her that is soon to be ex stayed there then he wanted to come live with is, but I can't see him saying that. Even though he has asked to stay with is lately, I don't think it was just because that guy was mean to him, not like overly abusive either just yelled/got on him more and spanked him once or twice for something ss7 did. Things they could have maybe worked out.

Ironically since kicking hubby out BM has gone on the prowl for a new man the best way she knows how, by going out drinking EVERY weekend. Leaving the kids with sitters, family or host 'sleep over' in which a sitter comes in after they go to bed so she can sneak out, only to be strangely I'll the next day. (Hung over)

When she does stay home with them she makes up stupid baby things so that she doesn't have to take then any where or she get her mom to come with them. Ss7 and ss9 are getting too old for some of that stuff and have seen just about every show/cartoon/movie out there.

A couple weeks ago ss9 had enough and begged BM to let him come to our house on the weekend that was supposed to be hers. She tried to talk him out of it by saying they were going to a cookout but it ended up being him watching movies with a bunch of younger kids while BM was out side drinking pinacoladas with her friends. So the next day she carved and called us to see If he could come. DH said yes and she brought him to us grinning form ear to ear, he was so happy. She looked like she was about to cry and ss9 did not care.

Guess who is coming now tomorrow? Ss9 AND ss7 (who chose to stay with BM last time). This time we think it's a little different though, usually we have a family reunion this weekend every year but this year it got moved to last weekend when we had the boys so we didn't tell her. We think she made other plans expecting us to take them. So when ss9 asked this time she jumped at the opportunity to nab a free baby sitter.

Now that she has allowed it, I can see them both asking more and more.
