Part 2

I just posted this blog https://www.steptalk.org/node/232287 and want to get a little perspective on the background of the grounding....

So the grounding of SD12 was due to lying. This is something that we battle with skids a lot and why wouldn't they. It is seen as OK by BM as she uses their lying to her advantage.

It's the little things...

Just want to start out this blog with a little mwahahahaha (in a very even laughing kinda tone).

Anyway I have been dealing with a ton of disrespect in our home by the skids. It is an ongoing battle but wanted to pretense this just for clarity as I didn't want my satisfaction to be misread....

UGH right back in it!

It has been a pleasant week - skids on vacation with MOTY.
Back just one day and right back into it again.

I just don't get it or how to fix it. No matter what myself or SO does or says it's the same shit. The disrespect, the huge mess, the laziness and the entitlement.

Life Insurance and Remarried

Stepping_off_the_ledge's picture

Question to all who are the 2nd wife....in your spouses divorce decree does it specify a life insurance policy designating the ex wife as sole beneficiary until skids are 18? And if so does that signify that the entire policy MUST go to ex or just in the instance to continue child support?

If so do you have a separate policy to protect your family in that scenario?

Tax Question

Stepping_off_the_ledge's picture

In SO's child support agreement is a clause that he must split the child tax credit with BM.
However BM has never filed taxes because she has NEVER had a job since the divorce and lives off child support and now child support plus a new husband.

Anyway this has never come up until now due to other custody issues.

Contempt

Has anyone had a bio or skid choose to live with you full time despite court order?
For instance - 50/50 custody, child is 14. Has had many conversations with one particular parent about choosing to live with that parent full time. Mature enough to ask to speak to a judge. Has valid reasons as to why child wants to make that choice.
Reason for question - other parent will make it difficult. Most likely try to involve police. Full time parent would essentially be in contempt of custody order (however already filed to modify for other reasons and other children involved)

Annoying

For everyone who has both bios and skids around the same age - who finds skids more annoying when it comes to they way they play and interact in your home?

LOL! I'm sure everyone does at times...I'll try to explain....
