exhausted after work tonight...
...but I came home and made dinner anyhow. Of course ss15 was not here for the meal so dh asks me to dish up a plate for him and put it into the fridge. I grudgingly do so. SS15 gets home and he immediately grabs the food and scarfs it down and then asks dh if he can move his computer down to the diningroom b/c he likes the chairs. I said NOOOO, not b/c I am worried about the chairs or anything but then with ss15's xbox AND computer downstairs I will have him in my personal space AAAALLLL THE EFFIN time. My boys mostly hang out in their rooms and once in awhile we all watch tv, but dh lets ss15 always have his stuff in my space. I remember my mom never let us kids play or sit around in the livingroom or in her kitchen space like diningroom, why is it that kids now adays think it's ok to take over the home?
I don't know, I'm just tired tonight.

We have a computer that is in
We have a computer that is in the TV room and asshole stepkid used to be on there anywhere from 8-18 hours a day before he got his laptop.
I literally had to walk around his fat, lazy with groceries or to take out the trash. He would type so loud it would drive me f'ing INSANE! The TV room is open to the kitchen so I had to hear it for hours on end. He would also clap and make the loudest, dumbest noises, CONSTANTLY.
I came thiiiiiiiiiiiis close to divorcing my H over it. Would you believe my H would defend the lazy fat ass when I continually complained about. I would literally cry because I had to tolerate it ALLLLLLLLLLL day and night.
That went on for 4 years and then fat-ass got a lap-top and now he sits in his stinky room ALLLLLL day and ALLLLLLLLL night. He only comes out eat, shit and rarely shower. Now that school is back in session, for school.
NO, they should NOT be allowed to take over the entire house. My H lets his asswipe kids do it too. I hate it!
Hi married, I totally get
Hi married, I totally get your feelings. When my boys are in the living area they barely leave a dent in the couch, but ss leaves dirty sock, soes, clothes, dishes, torn pieces of things b/c he's always fiddling. When he is sitting in the diningroom on the computer and I am in the kitchen I actually feel the stress in my body building and I work fast to get done so I can run upstairs or outside. I will work furiously to get things done so I can be outta there when e gets ome from school. My DH just doesn't get it and I don't want to hurt dh by saying nasty tings when ss isn't being nasty. I try to only complain when ss is being hugely terrible like threatening me or slamming doors or whatever. I actually think about seperating from dh at times just to get away and have my boys to myself in a tiny little house that is CLEAN and SMELLS NICE! But alas, I know if we seperated it would be over, dh as told me as much in a huge fight we had when ss18 lived with us and I screamed for him to take his freakin spawn and live somewhere until they're adults. He yelled back equally loudly that if I kick him out he'd never come back SAD how skids can do that to a couple. I believe it when they say second marriages have a higher divorce rate.
So how old is your ss and do you see him becoming a respossible adult who moves out on his own anytime soon? Do you have bkids and how do they handle this slobby lazy ss?
