Ding Dong the witch is dead (for 24 hours only)
Ok... lol.
So I am not referring to an actual person. That would be cruel.
My youngest SD (9) has been very meanspirited toward me for quite a while. And no I dont want a pity party... lol. But I have been noticing for years when SD's birth mom actually comes into town (2 to 3 weekends out of the year), SD is actually nice to me around this time. Not in front of birth mom ofcourse! But when SD is around me at the time of brithmom's visit, she is actually nice.
But as soon as birth mom has given her time (a few days... whoop-di-doo), and skips town once again to go back to her responsbility free life - I have to deal with the bratty negative attitude from SD once again.
So thats what the title of this post is all about. On the rare occasion that birth mom comes into town and graces us with her presence (not!), is the only time I get a break from SD hateful attitude. But once birth mom is on her jolly way, the "witchy attitide" from SD 9, returns.
Classis. I know exactly what it is. Yougest SD is very angry at birthmom for coming in and out of their lives as she pleases. But unstead of telling this to the birth mom directly, SD 9 takes out her anger, saddness and frustration on me.
Gee thanks birthmom. :jawdrop:

I know what that feels like.
I know what that feels like. Your SD is very lucky to have you in her life.
