Pre CS Ending Prep
Chef's attorney advised to go to the Girhippo's county's CSEU (located in Girhippoville) and get the procedure for CS ending upon YSS (the last skid) turning 21 first week of January. I went over there. They kept advising me that they could not give me any case specific info (DUH).
I kept telling them I just want the account termination procedure as there is no income execution and we are autopaying directly to NYS CSEU. The caseworker came out behind safety plexiglass hiccoughing incessantly to tell me that the account *SHOULD* terminate automatically.
I've heard horror stories about NYS CSEU NOT terminating once the "child" reaches 21 and biodad does NOT get reimbursed for the overpayment.
Chef decided that we will simply stop our auto payment the day after YSS turns 21 let the chips fall where they may.

I hope that it ends cleanly and on time and Chef will cut off all contact with the Girhipster and cease any and all support of the Girhippo spawn.
When a civil servant who can barely fog a mirror hiccoughs a statement like "it should terminate automatially" in response to a simple request..... it makes my skin crawl and my sphincter pinch off donut holes. You did not ask if it ends automatically, you asked for a print out of process to get CS stopped. Simple language skills are beyond these types nearly always it seems.
The caseworker
Appeared to be a relatively young 30 something well educated woman. Basically a waste of 45 minutes of my day. Unbelievable there is no formal process to end 20 years of legalized extortion. That dads are supposed to "trust" the government to end it once the "child" ages out of the system.
Our local attorney states that it often continues (what govt agency DOESN'T like fleecing the public) and fathers in NYS often have to go to court to get it stopped after it was supposed to *automatically* end. The kicker too is that once the dad overpays the system, that is water under the bridge and they don't refund it back. We've already experienced that when the Gir was overpaid for orthodonture via extra CS twice over. It's considered a "gift to the BM."
I would sue the BM and the CSEU in civil court.
For compensitory damages with penalities and interest and request punitive damages against the CSEU. in civil court. If they lose one of those, they just might put intelligent capable people in those jobs. Have your attorney point out that DH has never missed a Cent of CS. The State has to be held to a higher standard if the CP does not have to return overpayment, teh CSE office should and eat that part of their NCP extortion revenues from the Federal Gov't.
But hey, I totally understand that I too can be delusional.
We were fortunate that the CO never required us to stop the childcare element of the Spermidiot's CS. The order said that when SS reached 12yo either party was to file to end that childcare element of CS. We didn't. Not our bill, not our problem. The SpermClan never read one word of the CO and never did it. So, they paid 6yrs of childcare that they could have easily ended.
Interestingly, they called the CSE office weeks before SS's 18th Bday to make sure that CS ended on that day. Over the course of the 16yrs of the CO/CS order, they periodically cried that we should pay them the CS during SS's SpermLand visitations (5Wks summer, 1wk winter, 1wk spring). Ummm. No. They tried not paying CS during visitations the first year the CO was in place. They got their asses handed to them by the Judge when we had our attorney file for an emergency hearing and a contempt motion. The Judge did not find them in contempt and pretty much ignored that part of our filing. Though the Judge did rip them a new one for getting stupid with withholding CS during visitation.
I would put a stop on
I would put a stop on payments and have your atty send a letter stating CS is stopping due to stepgremlin aging out, as outlined in the support/custody papers.
How is this money taken out from ?
If it's a checking account. Closed it after last payment. He should get the January check. So open a new checking account now. Write all your checks on new account, in three months all checks should of cleared So CS would be the only check. Then just closed the account or take all the money out of it except for like $25. If saving account the same
We pay weekly
So i prorated the last check based on five days of the week that he is still 20 years old and cut it off the day after.
