You gotta be kidding me
So from my previous blog I am doing nothing for the SKids until attitudes change. Tonight DH was gone with the Skids and I was in the kitchen fixing me something to eat. Well I knock stuff over and make a mess. As I reach under the sink to grab a rag to clean up said mess I just so happen to find 6 still dirty forks ,a dirty spoon, three dirty glasses and a casserole dish that is filthy. It is SD 10s chore to do dishes and DH is supposedly supervising her as she has a habit of hiding things so she doesn't have to wash them. Aparently he's not. Ok curiosity gets the better of me and I go looking in the kitchen and theoughout the house thinking that surely this is it right? WRONG! I find dirty plates stuffed in the baking cabinet, a dirty bowl in the oven and a dirty saucepan in the freakin bathroom under the sink. By the time DH gets home I have calmed down some. I point him to the table and my "findings" and flat out tell him "you deal with this as I will not" and retreat to the bedroom. From the bedroom I hear the a$$ chewing that SD10 is getting. When it is said and done DH comes I to the bedroom and says "it's been taken care of, and won't happen again" uh huh yeah let's see how long THAT lasts

Ha. Funny. My SD used to hide
Ha. Funny. My SD used to hide them in plain sight. She'd just shove them to the side of the sink and DH would NOT make her wash them. Sometimes they'd sit there for weeks. Evidently it was no problem to anybody but me. I still remember fondly discovering how SD was actually "washing" dishes. No soap and no filling the sink with water. She'd just turn on the hot water and let it run on whatever dish she was "washing" until it was "clean." Nasty! I told DH about it and he got mad at ME. Made me not want to eat from a single dish SD had "cleaned."
Good for your DH for at least handling this, instead of turning it around on you. That's what would have happened in my house.
Happy, she does it thinking
Happy, she does it thinking she is getting out of washing them. Pisses me off! And at Elizabeth oh SD does that too. Last time she pulled the "just rinse the dishes" act DH made her pull ALL the dishes out and wash everything.
I don't mean to laugh at you,
I don't mean to laugh at you, but your SD is hilarious! I have NEVER in my life heard of such a thing! I almost wish I would have thought of this when I was a kid and hated doing the dishes, Oh wait.. I respected my parents and actually did what I was told (might have crabbed about it, but I still did it)
She had to know that she would get caught eventually... what a numbskull
Oh some of the crap she pulls
Oh some of the crap she pulls cracks me up. I NEVER treated my parents like that and neither did my step sister treat my mom like that!
