Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

Hmmm... Interesting. I think it would take a sick puppy to make up what goes on in my life, but I guess if your bored enough...so what is crew?
She was not a crew. She was
She was not a crew. She was not making stuff up based on my research on her outside of ST while attempting to figure it out. It may not have all made total sense and it may not have been what many would have chosen to do, but she wasn't "crewing" anyone.

I think a lot of people here wanted to help her. But she only wanted help from those who agreed with her or encouraged her to act crazy.

Actually, I thought about crew over my visit w/ my family. My dad lives w/ several other relatives on a farm and they have, among other animals, laying hens. My daughter and I were sharing a bed while staying at my dad's, and one morning something went missing. I started taking everythig off the bed thinking it may be in the sheets or something. I picked up my daughter's pillow and wouldn't you know it, there was an egg. She was trying to hatch it b/c her Granny L told her there was a chicken inside. *sigh*
Nothing in particular,
Nothing in particular, really; just that it reminded me of her story.
