Three days after the Sunday blowout H had with SD17 regarding her attitude toward me and we are still at the act like you don't exist phase. Thats fine with me too. Being in the same room and having to look at her snotty face makes me ill. I really don't even have to see her that much. I leave in the morning before her, she leaves before I get home from work and on weekends she stays gone most of the time. So, really its not so bad. H is just going to be in for a rude awakening when holidays roll around. As for me, I'm just going to keep playing her game and I'll act like she doesn't exist. Let the games begin!

I am basically in the same situation with SD20, we ignore each other and she isn’t there all the time, when she is I absolutely hate it, she is just there to take whatever she can from us.  I do have to engage from time to time because either she is about to do something that can endanger the rest of the house or I just couldn’t keep it bottled in any more.

I truly hope you can continue with the freeze out !

Good for you. And since most skids and bioparents don't realize how much we do for them, the holidays are going to be a whole lot different. Hope you have a ball with that.

Great job. I also act like SD13 doesn't exist. I don't say good morning to her, I never look at her, I walk by her like she isn't there. I never tell her it's time for dinner and I never pick up after her nor do I make sure she doesn't forget stuff when she leaves the house. Her dad notices and says I treat her different from the other children. Yes, I do, because she's the only one who has been nasty to me.
