Another spoiled skid?

Apparently Steve Jobs' daughter is cashing her in 15 mins of fame in a new memoir -and stepmom is furious.

Thoughts?  Don't know enough personally-but the fact that both his wife and sister defended the man, guides me to believe another nasty stepdaughter/biomom combo in the works.

I don't understand the point of her book. She's already worth billions. Clearly, what she accuses is not abuse. So sick of entitled brats and the BMs that encourage it.

She's worth billions. It would not surprise me that the guy who refused to pay child support or acknowledge her as his child was as bad father. That does not seem out of the realm of possibility.

As to his wife, she probably took her cues from him. He was shitty to his daughter so she probably was as well.

None of this seems impossible to comprehend or imagine.

I don't think she's cashing in.  I think this is her revenge for the way he treated her (or her perception of how he treated her).  It's no secret that the guy didn't always treat people well, and I'm sure his daughter was hurt.  I don't think she should have written the book, but I doubt she did it for money (she already has plenty).  And I think it sends the message that even a huge inheritance doesn't make up for a parent's mistreatment (or perceived mistreatment) of his child.

I have mixed feelings, probably partially because I don't know the whole situation.

But we know of plenty of people who do things solely for attention, money isn't the only motivator for people out there.

So it may be that she was hurt and she didn't feel she was treated very well. But it also could be that she caused issues and was punished and it's being misrepresented for attention.

I'm honestly not sure how to feel on it because there are so many possibilities and I don't know the first thing about what it might have been like.

If what happened was true... or mostly true.. I can definitely see her bitterness at seeing so many people laud her father as a great man while he treated her so poorly.  Not sure I would have written the book... but maybe it was therapeutic for her.. or she felt she needed to balance the discussion about what kind of man her father really was.

It could have been therapeautic. I just don't know for sure what's solid and what's not. It's possible he was terrible (a lot of more famous people have a tendency to be such) but I can't judge one way or the other since I can see too many possibilities with this one. Especially with conflicting stories.

If it is revenge, I find that very sad. Esposing what was done and how you were treated exposes you, too. I'm too private for that.

This kid had a golden life, has billions, more then all of us combined have.  She did not live in a car, eating out of dumpster!  But can find thing to bitched about.  There are a lot of kids where there father left them and the family, don’t give a Sh** about them. We there live, if they can eat, medical , Who we really should feel sorry for.  Not a spoiled billionaire.  Because she did nothing with her life to warrant her fame.  The only thing to get her five minutes is to write a book bad mouthing her father.
