OT - Thankful Thursday

We're closing in on the weekend, STalkers. Happy Friday Eve!

We all have our struggles. I've been going through a rough time for the past several months, but have managed (most days) to stick out my chin and push forward instead of crawling under a rock (kinda cold under that rock right now...). Some of my friends have been been darn near overwhelmed by life-altering shocks. Times like this make it an excellent opportunity for me to remember the things for which I am thankful.

I am thankful for:

  • a close-knit, loving, supportive family, especially...
  • ...my Dad, who is a paragon of virtue, NEVER judgmental, always understanding, and the best Dad anyone could ask for
  • my DH, who is my heart and my rock
  • a solid roof over my head, a reliable vehicle, and a good job
  • friends. Whether they are good, fair weather , bad, current, former, or toxic, I'm thankful for all of them. They have taught me what kind of friend I WANT to be, so I'm grateful for the lessons - even those that were painful.
  • STalk. If it wasn't for STalk, I'm sure I'd be divorced. It's lovely to have a safe place to vent and receive advice. Even advice that is skewed and sh!tty because it's another learning experience on the kind of person I want to be.

Hola Amiga!

I am grateful for so much in my life and try to make it a priority to remind myself everyday (preferrably the morning) of all that I have been blessed with. I am thankful/grateful for:

  • Good health and a sound mind.
  • A loving & supporting H, sister, and friends who always have a shoulder to lean on and have my back.
  • My sons who are my world.
  • The opportunity to obtain my college degree & my job paying for it.
  • A roof over my head, food on the table, and clothes on my back.
  • A reliable car that has been good to me.
  • Steptalk that genuinely have good caring people and I know that I am not alone and have support.

I'm thankful for:

  • Friends on here
  • A coworker that's been there for me through everything I'm going thorugh right now
  • My own office
  • Bisquick (I swear anything can be made with that stuff...)
  • Punching bags
  • My glock
  • My furbabies ability for unconditional love and realizing when I'm struggling
  • Showers
  • Two day shipping

That about covers it right now... With everything going on, THANK YOU for reminding me that I should be a bit grateful too. I needed that.

I have my own office too.  With a plus - I have my own bathroom.  :)   Having to share with one of these co-workers skeeves me.

I'd love my own bathroom!!! I'm grateful for the office though... Especially on days when I really don't want to deal with anyone!!!

Hey Aniki Smile sending you a big hug! Thank you for reminding me to be thankful today,because I do have a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for:
* for my friends and family who are the most wonderful, supportive and loving people. My colleagues are great too!
*Steptalk. I can bitch and moan here to a great group of people and not cause bedlam in my real life with some of the things I want to say. Writing here gets the rubbish off my chest.
*For the farmers and farm workers who grew the beautiful vegetables I bought today.
* Friday being on its way - I am looking forward to a great weekend

Life has been very kind to me.

That's why some of mine were just things I use to blow off steam... IE punching bag... LMAO

* Thankful for DH who ultimately is a loving, smart human being.

* Thankful for my sister who knows my parents are difficult.

* Thankful for my uncle and his wife who are awesome.

* Thankful for my job even though it's hard right now, and for the new co-workers I'm working with in another department who I think I'll ultimately be friends with.

* Thankful that I have ALL NEXT WEEK off - to do nothing but what I want.  Except a romantic night alone in a nearby town with DH for my birthday!

* And thankful for my two wonderful snuggly kitty cats.

I am super thankful for DH this week. His kids are meddling in business between DH and his siblings (because they know exactly what needs to be done at any given moment). DH SHUT THEM DOWN. And rather dramatically.
