All this talk about cupcakes and I want one!!!

What's your favorite cupcake? I'm seriously fiending for a dark chocolate cupcake with fudgy icing, drizzled with gooey caramel, and sprinkled with sea salt. Vanilla filled with raspberry with vanilla bean frosting would also be acceptable.

A carrotcake cupcake with major creamcheese icing.  Or a dark chocolate cupcake with peanutbutter icing and chocolate curls.

YUM YUM. I made carrot pineapple cupcakes with creamcheese frosting last week at work. They were delicious.

This morning, I did vanilla on vanilla with fresh blueberries. I didn't have much to work with and SO is not as out there with flavours as I like to be. As for favourites, I'm open to exotic, creative mixes and have a hard time offering one favourite!

You can't go wrong with good vanilla. And I love blueberries! What time should I stop by?

I am about to divulge to you what may be the best cupcake ever. It's Cookies and Cream (can be found on pinterest under "The best cookies and cream cupcake"). I made these for SD9's Valentine's party at school, and also brought a bunch to work. SO's parents request I bring them to family gatherings, and my SO absolutely loves them. I sent 4 to work with him last night to share, and he "forgot" to offer them to people, so ate all 4. lol. I have been told by 2 people who don't like cupcakes that it's one of the best things they've ever eaten. They are really that good. *toots own horn*

Anyway, the cupcake itself is a triple chocolate cake mix with pudding, chocolate chips, and crushed oreo's, with homemade frosting. I am sitting here thinking of how there are a few left in our fridge at home, and also how I'm on a diet.... Sad

Thrice, when I got an Easy Bake oven at age 9, the first cake I made was devil's food with white icing. It has always held a special place in my heart.
