Back to the Future - holy crap karma!
Was going through old photos of DS. Old photos, like baby through elementary school.
I found a picture of DS and OSS together when they were 2! DH and I didn't meet until DS and OSS were 10! I asked DH to confirm that the kid I thought was OSS was in fact OSS. Yup. Apparently they were at the same daycare, in the same room, for a short while (and they sent pics home regularly).
Not funny, karma.

Oh wow.....Imagine that.
Oh wow.....Imagine that.
We figured out that DH and BM
We figured out that DH and BM lived across the street in the same block where I grew up and where my parents still lived. I was long grown and only went home for weekends (from hundreds of miles away) on occasion. I was really hot back then and had a convertible. DH swears that he remembers me.
I would not have given him the time of day back then. One - he was married. Two - I did not ever date men like him even if he'd been divorced. Divorced with a child and not my professional equal - bah. Today (decades later) I grew up and so did he. I no longer looked for men to enhance my professional standing (how stupid that was). I never wanted to marry a man with a minor child - which I still think was a good decision for me.
But I still think it is kind of ironic that our paths almost crossed decades before we met.
DH and I figured out we hung
DH and I figured out we hung out in the same jazz cafe in the mid-90s, when he started dating BM. We even think we talked once. And we crossed paths in other places too. He says if only....
What are the odds???
What are the odds???
That's both insane and crazy. Dh and I never crossed paths prior. He was East cost and I was West. Also when he had SD10 I was like 13, so I really didn't have any involvement with an 18 year old accross the country at that point. Shocking I know.
But that's actually a bit cool. Freaky Karma wise. But that's one of those pictures you'd NEVER be able to get unless there was something crazy like that. So it's a bit nifty too.
That's too funny! We have a
That's too funny! We have a similar story- my youngest sister was the student teacher in OSS's third grade class. We didn't realize it until I was going through some of his old school things for a scrapbooking project and found a class photo and a certificate for him with her name signed to it. She didn't even remember him until I mentioned it to her! So weird...
DH and I went to the same
DH and I went to the same high school 9 years apart. I had a class my senior year with BM’s cousin. And my sister has worked for DH’s best friend’s FIL for 22 years. Small freakin world!
