Pup drama continues
MIL offered to keep puke's pup this weekend. Now she isn't coming Saturday to take us out for Puke's birthday. (Oh darn. So disappointed that I don't get to go.) MIL doesn't want to leave pup with elderly FIL while she is gone. I totally understand but DH is pretty upset with her. Not exactly sure why. MIL is still watching the pup. What's to be upset about?
Oh the drama. I think it's comical. DH is making this pup his problem and being ungrateful when his mom is doing him a favor. I have a feeling she won't volunteer next time. I don't blame her.

Oh don't even get me started
Oh don't even get me started on BM watching the pup. MIL even told DH that. Puke has made the pup DH'S problem. I don't feel a bit sorry for him.
I'm going to suggest he and puke spend the day together doing something so they can have father daughter time without me in the way. Still deciding what dessert to make. Something I love and she doesn't.
Something healthy and sugar
Something healthy and sugar free. That's brilliant!
Pup on my doorstep will be re-homed before it can walk thru the door. DH will need to get this worked out cuz the pup is not coming in this house ever. Not my problem.
I'll take pup and you can
I'll take pup and you can have my MIL.
Is she house broken and used
Is she house broken and used to being in a kennel?
I wish
I wish
what about sugar-free
what about sugar-free zucchini-carrot cake?
Your pup troubles remind me
Your pup troubles remind me of my former neighbor when she was going through her divorce. One kid was a junior in high school and the other kid was an 8th grader. They had the most adorable dog - one of those little teeny ones that looks like a dustmop.
Anyway, dad was a total loser - an ambulance chasing lawyer who had developed a very nasty drug habit. Lost everything, and then sort of lost his mind. The parenting plan actually included the dog - yes, the dog was ordered to go with the kids when they went to Dad's crappy apartment.
One day I was out for a walk - as I walked by her house, I saw dad's car sitting outside the house waiting for the girls to come out. Dad was in the car yelling at mom, and I was sort of standing by as a witness. Girls come out. Sans dog. Dad starts screaming about the dog. Mom opens the door and out walks the dog. Dog jumps into the car as Dad and Mom are still barking at each other. I start to walk away, when all of a sudden, I see the dog flying through the air!!
Dad takes off with the girls. Dog runs back to the front door with me closely on her heels. Mom opens the door to see me and Dog standing on her porch. I went inside to make sure everything was okay. It seems that Dog had a vet appointment that Dad was not going to take her to.
Poor puppy had nothing to do with their issues but these two were hell bent on fighting over that damn dog.
I wish people would leave pets out of human drama.
BM will use whatever or
BM will use whatever or whoever she can as a pawn in her game. I have doubts she truly cares about puke like a mother should. Puke is BM'S leverage with DH.
You and me both. No chance
You and me both. No chance of it becoming a good and loved pet. It'll be just as screwed up as the rest of them.
