A-HA! There WAS a New School Portal that Chef NEVER GOT ANY INFORMATION ON!!

Earlier I had my suspicions about a portal being suddenly turned off for YSS and SD's grades. Well Chef was assured that he would get the new portal info as soon as it came out. Yeah right.

Well what do you know. On the School District site there is a school portal website that has been up for about 5 months now which Chef never got any information on despite requesting it via email.

Things that make you go HMMM. Did I mention that the Girhippo has the entire town PASed out against Chef for the last oh, 13 years now?

Thrice - if Chef is not worried why are you? Chef could've done the same as you and searched for it, called the school what ever....

Here's the scoop; need to know if SD graduates or not then goes on to college this fall. If not and she works full time instead, then she could be emancipated before 21 according to the CO.

Chef is way too laid back when it comes to this. He thinks "no news is good news."

Info is mailed but Chef should know in advance to "strategerize."

I'm glad I keep up with it otherwise Chef would STILL be paying for OSS20 and would be none the wiser.

Because CS is still being paid, at an exorbitant rate, I might add. The faster these kids can launch the better.

Skids in my case have gone to summer school every single year of their school "career" to supposedly make up for blowing off the entire year, skipping class, class clownery, never turning in assignments, blowing off tests.

If I were their mother I'd be embarrassed as hell, but the Gir wears the MOTY title proudly.

Early on, Chef was told by the school district that despite having joint legal custody, his opinion didn't matter and that the CP would always overrule the NCP. It's no wonder most men give up, drop the rope and walk away with that sort of bias baked into the system.

In our case the MOTY Girhippo is a supervisor (or was) for CPS, yet there is unbridled truancy and failing grades.

Why did anyone have to inform him? He could call the school or even better stop by the main office. He'd have information about portal.

He emailed them back last Fall and the teacher assured him that he would get the new info in the email which is emailed and not given over the phone. The plot thickens.

So he's been waiting since fall? After one email? That's really ridiculous. It's almost May. He could contact school again. Or drive there. Or call a principal, so there is really no plot. Just shitty parent
