Camp Dates ....
Ok, here it is the date for the first annual camp out is August 8-10. I need to know who is planning for sure, who is looking into airfare. Please keep in mind, that all yall will be responsible for is getting here, everything else is on the house. 
I'm off work 8/7-8/11, so if your getting to or from airport on these dates, there is no problems. If you want to rent a car, that's fine, but I'll be happy to make arrangements to get yall where you need to be.
Does anyone have one of these aircards that they were talking about. I have a laptop with wireless connection, but don't have access to web at the cabin. Oh, I don't have a webcam either. I got a whole lot of nothing huh?! Just kidding. Can you buy one of these aircards like phone cards or is it one of those contract deals. Any info helpful. It would be cool to webcast the trip so all can enjoy.
Please post if your coming or still working on it. You may PM me with personal questions/directions/schedules, ect. If you are on the fence of making the decision - just go for it!!!!!!! I can't believe that I am putting myself out there like this, it is so not my style, but ya know, it is my life and maybe I'm naieve, but I feel as if yall are my friends, and my friends are trust worthy. And by the way, my husband is the popo. I'm not scared, maybe a little nervous because it is only a cabin - the people will make the trip memorable.

One thing I want to throw out is a discussion on organizing a retreat for SM's. I will explain there.
But the basic idea is a weekend at a conference type place, where we do workshops and have a guest speaker or two. So if it's ok with SW, I would like to devote a little time to bouncing ideas around about that.
We will be bringing some wine too!

How about we each bring ingredients to create a feast. That's what the women in my family did when I had the turning 40 sleepover here.
It was nice for everyone to contribute a dish. I would need to bring something that travels well- OOOOOH. I have a small chocolate melting pot, and can bring chocolate to melt, along with some pretzels.

Lets not get too detailed. Yes, full kitchen. I have a charcoal grill, and I love to grill, therefore I suggest we just use the kiss method. If all agrees, this could be menu: hamburgers/hotdogs/steaks/red potatoes&onions/smores big breakfeasts - pancakes/eggs/bacon and lots of coffee/ lunches sandwichs or whatever. I plan to provide all the food, that would be something that yall just wont have to worry about. Anyway, if you want to bring something, that is ok too. anything melting in a pot is good with me. And also keep in mind that there is a walmart/grocery store not 15min away. So, there you go....we got it. I'm so excited, so far there will be 5. We have plenty more space lets get more on board !!

Stepwitch, this is an excellent idea! I am very interested myself even though I dont post alot but I do and look here every day two or three times to read. I am in middle tennessee so therefore, this get away would only be a few hours away. Yippee... Please let me look at my calendar (i have my first nephew due Aug 14th) so i certainly dont want to miss his arrival. I will get back with you.

We have been absolutely drowning and I have just decided to get a job at night and on the weekends to get us out of the hole. I would love to come but I just can't. Not this year. The move just really set up back. Stupid move...did I mention that. I have decided that instead of saying I live in podunkville...it is now stupidville!!
