Straight from the title of the forum home page. Yes, we need to be able to vent. To let out some of the poison building up in our systems because of our situations. Whether it be BM's who are doing their best to make us as miserable as possible, or dealing with entitled skids and their over indulgent birth parent.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I made a pact w/myself when I married, that I would not complain to my family if there were problems. Involving my family (who, of course, love me and would back me 100%) would only create more problems. As they would totally dislike H if they knew what really goes on here. And I don't want that.

None of my friends are in this situation-they are either married -long term first husbands, no skids, or live alone, with bf's they see a couple of times a week. So no one there can really relate to what happens here.

I was so releived to find this site-I was on another forum previously that has shut down for some reason. During the weeks I didn't have any online friends to vent to, to get really good advice from, my stess level was much higher.

So thanks so much to those of you who listen with an open mind and a kind heart. Thanks so much to those of you who have offered constructive advice, without lecturing. And I hope that maybe, just maybe, I have made someone on here feel a little better, a little validated.
