UGHHHHH
I know this is going to seem kind of confusing if you have not read my other posts but bear with me. My dead beat kids dad of 3 hired a private attorney to take me to court. Ok, so we had court depositions, and now this is what his lawyer is trying to do. In the paper our marriage announcement between my husband and I they asked years of school.. Ok I went to college from 99-01 however, dropped out because he had left and I could not keep up with trying to raise my kids and going to school ,and I refused to go on welfare, which now I wish I would have to finish my degree. Point is I did not graduate, but the paper assumed I did and published that I did. To make a long story short, we are in the middle of depositions and she asks if I graduated from college, I say no, (which he knows I did not) and she whips that paper out and says, then why did you tell the paper you did? I tell her I never told the paper that and explain what I just explained and she says if it was not true, why did I not call and change it? hello, do you think I want them to run a miss print saying, I am sorry, but the bride is a college drop out? NO! Anyway, my lawyer calls, now she wasnts proof that I did not graduate, and that I can not go get a better paying job. Ok, I do not have the best paying job, but I am not minimum wage, and last I checked, she is not paying my bills. Am I right?

How do you prove something DIDN'T happen?!
If ex's atty thinks you DID graduate, then she should subpoena the school she thinks you got your degree from. That's crazy.

thats what I say
Well, I called the school and asked for my transcripts which they will not give me until I am completely done paying them off, which I still owe them 800 dollars, so as far as I am concerned she can get them herself!!!

I am confused
What does YOUR income have to do with HIS child support? Not sure wher you live, but in Texas it is based off his oncome and is 20% for the first child, blah blah blah. I did not have to provide any sort of income information. When my husband and I got married, the AG did not change the amount for the EX!!! That is crazy.... Hey, do you live in NM??? LOL!!!
And what does your college education have to do with ANYTHING! You could be homeless with a college degree or a millionare who can;t even read. It is crazy the way the system works. He should be glad he only has that amount. My ex has 755 for ONE. Not that I have seen a penny in two years, but three kids would put him at like 2000 plus. Makes you wonder why we ever married those idiots!
I read on a previous blog that your marriage was a disaster. Please take it from me, never never never let the ex come between you, always stand united against the kids. And remember that you are just as much a mom to those kids as your own, demand respect from the get go.... from everyone... DH, BM Skids. And hang in there!!!
