I have been felling very alone the last couple of months. Unable to share my feelings with my husband because we just don't discuss his darling daughter. I am SO done with her and her antics. Happy that she is out of the house, but sad that she is making such a mess of her life. I sure needed a place I could go to read and share stories with other step-parents. Thank you!

Trust me, I was on the exact same page as you. Smile This place is absolutely great as well as the people here! I just recently told my DH how I felt about his daughter, and he understood... and I feel so much better now that I have all my frustrations in the air between us.

I know what you mean about feeling alone...I can't really talk to H about SD because of the "darling" factor. Despite having two young children with H, the SD always comes first. For a long time, I thought I was crazy for having the thoughts that I have, but I'm not only one which validates me.
