In reading posts here and thinking about my own stepmom experience, I came to the conclusion that the bad rap we stepparents have is misused.
I think if Cinderella's story were told by her stepmom, she'd probably say she bullied her daughters, talked with animals when she was high and saw pumpkins in places of cars from LSD. She'd also tell you of the time when Cinderella came home so trashed that she was missing a shoe.
Being a stepmom has brought the worst out of me. I find myself not liking a child. I never thought I'd dislike a child.
