F.M.I.L sometimes calls me BM's name??.....

ok, so my FH and I have been together for quiet a while, and his ex the SS, BM has had a new baby.
We are all going down to FL (My FH, SS, and myself)
well FMIL posts on her FB that she cant wait for SS,FH, AND THEN SHE ADDED BMS name in where mine was supossed to be and then said "oops" TWO HOURS later.....How should I go about this, should I just not go, or maybe she did make the mistake....I don't know...

my MIL actually calls me by Frizz' name and refers to me by Frizz' name when she's talking to other people. I wanna tell her she's a senile old bitch but I don't think that would make the holidays less tense than they already are. DH gets pissed though...he's like, "UM MOM...you KNOW my wife's name so I suggest you use it rather than disrespecting her repeatedly. Just because she's too much of a lady to correct you doesn't mean you shouldn't be corrected by ME."

My best friend has had his current girlfriend for 3 years and I called her by his baby's mother's name. I was totally embarrassed. It was at our 4th of July party. She made a huge deal about it and I felt awful and everyone else thought she acted like an ass about it. In my defense...Angela and Amanda...thats an easy mix up right, lol???

Ugh, ya know what sucks HUGE...when DH and I get into a tiff and he accidentally starts saying Frizz' name instead of mine,then quickly corrects himself. Then his oh so suave excuse is, "well...when I'm tense and shouting I associate that with her name,not yours baby..."

My MIL has done that quite a bit in the last couple of years, especially when SS is with us. My DH has said something about, his brother and sister have both said stuff to her, however - she just kept doing it and would say "oops".

For Christmas this year - my DH bought me one of those "Hello My Name is" red tags and wrote my name on it. When I walked in, his brother, sister, and everyone else started laughing - she came around the corner and said "OK, OK - I get it smart ass".

She hasn't done it since - we'll keep our fingers crossed. They come in packs of 50, so we're set if she slips again.
