Getting Sons passport

How can I get my sons passport from my Ex I am due to travel with him shortly and she will not give it to me i just won a Joint custody decision in family court and just forgot to bring it up then will it be impossible now !

Both a child's parents have to consent to the child leaving the country, and you will have to have signed paperwork for the visa if a visa is required.

If she won't give it to you, you need to request an emergency injunction.

Has she said why she won't give you his passport? Is she afraid you will leave the country with him?

File for a lost passport.
Show the joint custody paperwork if needed.

I have sole custody and just got my kids their passports I had the choice of either having ex go with and sign on the passports or fill out a document giving permission and he'd have to sign and have that notarized. Joint custody and the ex won't give up the passport? Sorry to say looks like without court intervention your screwed just looked it up both parents have to sign for that too.
