difference b/t SD/SM who has kids of their own and SD/SM who doesn't?

What do you think the biggest difference is between stepparents who have biological kids of their own and stepparents who don't?

What gifts does each bring to a new relationship with a SS/SD?

What challenges does each face?

Some challenges it brings when you dont have biokids is that you cant understand the parent/child bond. also a skid reminds you of your SO's ex. A biokid reminds you of the love btwn you and your SO.

Some gifts is that step parents can objectivly deal with behavior issues. We can also see thru the fake cries and tantrums. Some parents (disney parents/guilty parents) cant see through that crap.
