I hope everyone's new year is going well.

Mine is good... but......

I left mom and dad's on Tuesday.  I drove from Austin to Las Vegas.  My car that was blasted by a huge hail storm at the end of Sept and took two months to get fixed had to get home.  I tested (-) for COVID on Sunday and left for home Tuesday AM.  1200 + miles. I love road trips but still not yet fully recovered from COVID it was a long two days.  Pretty much uneventful other than the beautiful vistas.  I overnighted in Las Cruces NM.  

I pulled into our garage at 6PM yesterday.  

2022 is coming to an end and I will be glad to have it behind me. This past year has been rough in more ways than one. I know I don't share much about my bio family, but wanted to share some good news:

My sister comes home from the hospital today!!! It has been a rocky road the past couple of months and she's not completely out of the woods, but I'm extremely thankful to end 2022 with that positive.
