• DH's new phone arriving so quickly. He is a big crankypants when he can't read his news.
• You. Yes, YOU! In case no one told you today: you're beautiful, special, and needed. So many of you I'd love to chat with over a cup of coffee or tea or a glass of wine. <3

Happy Thursday STalkers. Sorry I've been MIA, but I've been really sick. Still recovering, so this will be short...

• Surviving Covid. Still not 100%, but recovering. Hope to be back at work next week.
• The awesome hospital staff who took care of me.
• My DH, who saved my life and is my rock.
• My Dad (and my very first rock) who has called/texted every single day.

There are days when you have to be thankful for off-the-wall or unusual things. This is one of those days...

Happy Friday Eve, STalkers! While I'm looking forward to a 3-day weekend, I'm a little bummed that DH has to work OT because we were thinking of heading to a nearby Labor Day festival on Saturday. Such is life. I have a number of things planned that will be easier to accomplish with DH out of the house.

It's chaos out there and I've been reading waaaaaay too much news (cue insomnia as my mind goes into overdrive) so today I'm concentrating on some basics that are all too often taken for granted. I am thankful for: 

• My DH. Despite those cranky pants he was sporting last night, he fixed the washing machine.
• Having a job. With the exception of King Pita, I like my job.
• People who do jobs in trade for something else. You win; I win. 
• Culinary creativity. I love taking a hodgepodge of leftovers and creating something new and tasty!
