Letting Go!

I have let go and it feels awesome!!!

After reading posts on here and having some quiet time with myself, I have let go and I get to take care of ME! I have disengaged and if his kids want/need something, he gets to take care of it.

The skids come home this evening for a few days and I'm not sweating it. I have plans for the entire time they are there and I cannot wait!

And we come back to Thursday....

and they are back home. Grrrrr

School is done and I have no more excuses to spend my time with my DF and his kids 11 and 7.

I have some stuff to do around the house and work in the yard, so I guess I have some ways of getting out of spending time with them.

What do some of you do when you want to get out of spending time with the steps?

DF and I had a huge argument as to how this was all going to pan out and he chose to do his own thing. Fine - I have homework and class so I really could care less. He hasn't bothered telling me what is going to happen or what he has planned - so then am I to assume that I am not included in such plans?

Guess we will find out. I have a feeling that this is going to be the beginning of a fight....
