Snow coming again. They are saying we are going to get 5-8 inches. They've already begun with the travel advisories. Most likely will be snowed in again tomorrow.

I would rather do about anything than stay home and watch DH treat SD like she is 3 instead of 18. I'm annoyed with him right now and I don't think I can keep my mouth shut.

Over the last two weeks things have gotten much worse. SD's recent behavior and the lack of consequences imposed by DH make me question whether it is worth the effort.

Last week DH told me he and SD were going to the mall to exchange shoes that each of them got as Christmas gifts. SD was returning the shoes that I had picked out that without even taking them out of the box on Christmas announced to the whole room she didn't like them. DH's were a gift that didn't fit.

After telling everyone she didn't like her gifts SD threw a fit because DH told her she couldn't go to a friends on Christmas Eve. She actually said "so I'm stuck here for three hours with nothing to do."

Meanwhile bs, his girlfriend and bd were picking up the mess in the living room while DH and I put away food and cleaned the kitchen. Ummm I've got an idea, perhaps you could make a contribution to the household.

SD came back last night after spending a week with BM. Of course DH had to drop her off and pick her up. Oh and he had to go get SD mid week to take her to her dentist appt. BM apparently feels its asking too much for her to do any of this because we moved further away, 20 miles vs 5 is a real hardship for someone who works 3 days a week.
