Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I LOVE Christmas!!
I LOVE Christmas!! Unfortunately I'm almost dreading it this year too. It will be our first Christmas where we have ss. In the past we'd get him late Christmas Eve for a few days, if at all. There were a few years we didn't even see him. One of the last times we had him ON Christmas he cried because he didn't have a lot of presents to open at my parents house. Anyway, so this year we are supposed to have him for about a week, including Christmas Eve and Day. NOT looking forward to it. Ss will be 13 by then but I still expect tears and drama.
Thanks everyone! He just got
Thanks everyone! He just got back from a trip with DH. Spent a fun weekend, he said he had fun. In the family gathering, he embarrassed DH by telling people that DH drink like a fish, he lost count at the 5th drink. Hmmmmmm....
