I am working on "liking" my skids more. They are my child's half brother's and also are not going anywhere since they live with us full time. I have come to realize that I do love them, because they are after all just kids. However, I do not like their behavior. I have vented, cried, complained about how much I do not like them. At times I have even posted that I "HATE" them. They have left for the summer to go stay with their mother (we have them full time). They have been gone only 2 days and I now realize that I do not HATE them. I can not stand their behavior. It is their behavior that stresses me out etc. They are very impolite and this is towards ALL PEOPLE. They do NOT listen. We have taken them to see if they have hearing problems and they dont, so that has been ruled out. They hear just fine, but dont hear any direction or command that you give them. They back talk uncontrollably. They dont want to eat anything because " i dont like that". Really? You hate Cheese? Then how do you eat pizza and mozzerella sticks? Dont say you hate something, just say you dont want it on such and such.
