Still no visits from SS. He texted his dad that he was done with us. We went to the bday party and he promptly left. I do say I was annoyed by the gift display from the EX wife... come on you dog your ex MIl all the time, but you find it necessary to make sure you are still around. Bye Felicia! T-6months till he turns 18.

I set aside some money for him. I am on a he fence with what I should do

If it's your money then that's simple. He doesn't get it. He won't thank you or change his behavior so why continue to reward him for his actions.

If he knows you have money for him simply tell him that since he chooses not to be around then you will keep the money to buy his brother and sister gifts for Christmas and Birthdays from him so they don't continue to feel hurt by him.

Why would you want to put money aside for SS? He's not your responsibility, rather take that money and divide it between your other kids...

He disengaged from you and your husband - you can return the favor by disengaging from him.
