OT feeling deflated, used, stressed and like I am hauling the load

both me and my so were made redundant, he has been out of work since Jan and I am due to end my job in June but have already got a new job so will be kissing my redundancy goodbye. different story but related as it would have been about 6K we desparately needed.

anyway i have had a migraine for the last 3 days, i know that i am irritable but i am getting to the end my tether with SO.

He has been jobhunting, not as much as he can but hes been on a few interviews.
other than that he has been at home, half assing the housework and letting things pile up.

Just thought i would ask to find out where you all are abouts?

I am Canadian but live in the UK, have done for the last 7 years almost. My SO is british, we have been together for nearly 3 years now. Let me just say I am jealous of the US/CA law regarding custody etc; the courts here are a bitch.
We desperately want to emigrate back to Canada in the next few years but the SD situation is a toughie. SS9 and SD3 will be fine but its SS11 we are the most concerned about.

skids report cards came thru this am, its parent/teacher conference night tonight but bf wont be home to read b4 he goes in so pretty much had to relay the gist over the phone so he wasn't going in blind.

SS10. fucking genius who got the highest mark in school for computer tech and art, higher than year sevens. awesome, no probs. teacher says he suspects mild auspergers but fuck whatever. so he cant be totally social yet...don't strap autism crap on him yet he might be a late bloomer, ill give him another year before i send him for testing. BF and me on same page with this.
