My FDH is definitely a negative person. I love him dearly, and he does try to be more positive when I point it out, but it usually only lasts a couple of hours. It could be a gorgeous day outside and he WILL find something wrong with it.... I'm usually a very positive person. I realize that life can suck at times, but I do try to find the 'good' in things, although there are times it takes me a little while to do so.

Weekend plans changed

Sorry this is going to be long. FDH informed me yesterday morning that BM called and said 'you need to keep the kids I'm leaving town'. He 'claims' he got into it with her and that she needs to check with him first to see if we can keep the kids or if she needs to make other arrangements. Of course, BM started in with the guilt.. amazing how they just know how to get at them still... Their your kids and your responsibility too and me and my H are going out of town so if you can't keep them I'll just call my dad and see if he can check in on them (they are 15 & 17).

SD15 Wants Birthcontrol.....

SD called me last night and told me that she wants to get put on birthcontrol.... but not because she wants to have sex, she says it's to help with her periods. I asked her if she talked to BM about it and she said that yes, she tried but that BM freaked out and started yelling, etc. She asked if I would take her. I told her that no, I couldn't take her without one of her parents permission, so we agreed that her & I would talk to her dad this weekend when she came back to our house.

Would you tell DH????

SD and I were talking tonite and she was telling me about her trip with her BM and SF and brother. She was saying how SF was acting like a jerk and calling her fat and just saying some cruel things to her..... anyway, she also told me about an incident that happened at BM's house about a month ago that involves her brother. She told me that at a party BM & SF had, that her brother got so drunk, that he got alcohol poisoning and BM called 911 and an ambulance took him to the hospital.

SS17 at it again.....need to vent

FDH went out of town for a few days with his kids - I couldn't get the time off of work so I told him to take just them (that's what I told him... actually I just couldn't be in the car for 5 hours listening to them argue). Nothing major, just went up to the cabin to go four wheeling. They got back today and we had to be at mass by 5pm tonite because his grandma is turning 100 and they were doing a special blessing for her. They get home around 4 and we take off shortly after that.
