DP get it together.
This morning running late again because DP can't get SD9 out of bed. He tells me to 'not make this into an issue.'
Oh really! ''DP the same thing happened last weekend. I am not going to schede my day around whenever SD9 gets out of bed. I have things to do. I have two days off a week (he has a more flexible schedule) and this is my ONE day to get this done. I want tomorrow off to really relax. Do you get it?!"
Somewhere in there DP said "stop judging me" and it took all my effort to not react by saying YES I AM!
DP got SD9 out of bed and into car.
Later, SD11 calls both of us trying to find swimsuit for the pool. She answers my call and I tell her where it is. I get a thanks (not expected).
Apparently DP also called SD11 back and she just yelled at him, "Don't CALL me!!!" And hung up on him. Me: you need to address that behavior." DP: "I know...."
Yeah nothing happened.
My favorite when looking at calendar with SD9, who wanted to know when they would be back with us, July 1. 8 days from when they leave. DP is all, "that is a LONG time! That can't be right!" I simply say, DP, it's what you agreed to two days ago with BM. It's summer. It's a different schedule." All the while trying not to jump so and down with glee...

Yes good! The only problem
Yes good! The only problem with me leaving is he HAD to come with me. There wasn't a way around it...if I could have left I really would have. Like last weekend.
Now I will work on my non-responses to his responses/comments regarding SDs. I've been really good with the "uh-huhs" but sometimes I am so surprised I am caught off guard.
And now we are off to a Father's Day brunch....
Practice: DP comments that it
Practice: DP comments that it is such a perfect day to be outside and SD11 is just holed up in her room on the computer.
Me: shrug and "uh-huh."
