The Supima Design Competition is growing.

For the seventh edition of the annual event, two schools have been added to the lineup. The Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles have been selected to participate in this year's competition, which was created to give runway exposure to emerging talent.

These two California schools join New York City's Fashion Institute of Technology, Ohio's Kent State University, the Rhode Island School of Design and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
