No favorites! Yeah right!

So tonight we had SD15 and SD13 over for dinner. She is the last child to finish eating and put her plate in the sink. I enter the kitchen after her and DH is following me. I point to the sink where her plate with peas was placed on an angle on top of other plates, causing the peas to spill around the sink. There is a lip around the sink which contained most of the spill.

So again SD12 is causing drama in the household due to her being BM’s BFF again. SO BM’s ex-fiancé is saying crap about her at BM’s “friend’s house”. This is sooo high school that I couldn’t stand to even hear the drama!

A little back story first. A few years ago, BM decided that she didn’t want to work anymore. So she did what any gold-digging BM would do, she filed for an increase in CS. DH has 2 kids with BM. After divorcing DH, BM remarried, had a child and divorced another man whom I will call “Bill”. BM takes them both back to court on the same day, back to back. Since they now have something in common, they started taking. This leads to DH and I, Bill and Bill’s new wife “Sarah” getting together a few times. We talked a lot about BM, and the welfare of the kids.

SD11 and SD13 have always been in competition with each other. They always say that they hate each other. I personally believe that they truly do hate each other. They have taken it to another level by putting it on facebook. This is their exchange between SD11 and SD13 on facebook.

Well, as usual, my December birthday gets overlooked by everyone Sad
Why is it that people seem to think its OK to give joint Bday and Christmas gifts?
I can understand young kids doing that. But kids can at least say Happy birthday. Adults should know better. I don’t give joint Christmas and birthday gifts for anyone born in December!

How is a picture of Stepkids a gift for Father's Day?

Does anyone else think that it is appropriate to send Dad Father’s day gifts with their picture? Not talking about homemade fingerprints ~ which is cute when the kids are young~, but a 12yr old giving this type of gift?

My SD12 decided to get dressed up (for an event DH was not invited to), take a picture, copy it to a card she made for DH. It just seems that it always comes back to being about them, when the day should be about the Dads in their lives.

Bumping into BM

So we had all the kids this weekend and decided to go shopping for some things. We go into a Department store and DH is trying on sunglasses with all the kids giving suggestions. Then we hear "there is the girls' mom". I look around to see BM crouching thru the aisles and saying Girls, Girls. Very wierd, why crouch thru the aisles, like she is doing something sneaky...

So this was our weekend without kids. We had a great weekend. We pick up my kids this morning and get laundry started. It seems last time (Wed night)his daughters were here, SD9 decides to leave her dirty clothes on the floor next to her bed. Yes, she has a hamper in her room. Yes, she is a slob. She was told before about leaving pants in the hamper when they are inside out with underwear still attached.
