Wow. I am speechless
A few weeks ago I got a phone call from my attorney BM's therapist (not sure of degree level) was asking/ requesting permission for BM to send me a letter.
Due to the RO that is in place she cannot have any contact with me and the therapist was trying to find I guess an alternate route for BM to send me this letter. We knew that BM had been doing her anger management classes in jail and that she was taking her required parenting classes in jail, this was the first we had heard that she was in 'therapy'.

Happy Happy!!
Who could have known that heading to a grocery store to spend an abyssmal amount of $$ would end in making a new (step mom!!)friend??
It was Walmart, with an incredibly LONG check out line... and a woman in front of me with multiple teenagers calling her by her first name. (First clue this was another step mom).
She and I got to talking, one of her skids interupted and man she has them trained, one look and the kid shut up, waited until we were done talking then said: "Excuse me, (insert new friends name here) is it ok if I run over to the restrooms?"

My first reaction is WTF?!?! Then I have to wonder... is this a psycho ex wife, with made up stories whose been trying to deny access to the kid... there is A LOT missing to this story...

On a very positive note
DH took Skid1 to our local community college today and got her enrolled. She starts in September, no clue what she wants to do, so her first few semesters are core classes (english, math, speech etc) that she will need no matter what her chosen degree ends up being!

Follow up therapy visit
The therapist is rather disgusted.
From the last therapy appointment until this morning I jotted down every time I heard this kid utter a comment about her own looks, what was said, who she said it to etc.

I do not like you. 
Had friends over last night, took your suggestion. Everytime skid3 made a comment about herself we took a shot.
Company spent the night. All are hung over. Lots of empty booze bottles.
And the dang kids first words to me this morning:
"JHW look! Look! I tried something new with my hair.. admit it I look hot!"

SD18 funny conversation this morning
SD18 and I were sitting having a cup of coffee this morning before I went to work. This has recently become a habit where she will wake up, just to have some adult woman chat time; even if there is nothing else she has planned to do that early in the morning. One of the topics that came up in our chat is our family heritage. And how utterly diverse/ messed up it is.

Motor mouth has been silenced!
DH and I were talking regarding schedules, weekend plans, and bills that need to be paid. Deep in the middle of this conversation when skid3 walks up and just starts blathering on about something. I honestly don't know what because DH cut her off so fast with
"Oh sorry, please don't allow the middle of my sentence to interrupt the beginning of yours"
The child actually replied with "Oh that's ok" and attempted to continue on with her blathering.

An hour... and my tongue is KILLING ME from biting it!!

Look I painted my nails, admit it they are hot!
I need to get more of these shorts, they make my legs look good.
This eye shadow makes my eyes look sooo green!! (They are brown, hazel on a good day in bright light)
OMG, Brittney (not the real name) lopped off ALL HER HAIR, she looks like an UGLY BOY.
I am either going to bite my tongue off. Or grind my teeth dull before Monday.
Talked with Skid3's therapist about her obcession with herself...
I made a post on here a week or so ago about my issues with SD16 and her being conceited.
Yesterday was her appt with her therapist. I took her to the appt and talked with the therapist on the phone before the appointment. I really did listen when all of you stated you thought it was low self esteem causing her comments. When I explained skid3’s incessant comments, need for attention, constant fishing for compliments etc her therapist sounded confused.
