Stay Tuned - Part 2
Well the blow up finally happened a couple of days ago. SD19 started with the attitude again and I lost it. I told her she was not to talk to me that way anymore. I didn't let my 9yr old bioson talk to me that way or anyone else and she wasn't going to do it anymore either. Then she started with the you guys don't appriciate me, so I pointed out that we did a heck of a lot more for her that she totally takes for granted so she has no reason to complain about appriciating someone. Girl had absolutely nothing to say...first time for everything I guess.

Has it finally happened?
I think h@ll might have finally frozen over...or is about to anyway....maybe! Let me explain
We go every weekend out to the cottage.
This past weekend SD19 had some friends coming down from university and they were going to stay at her friends parents house. SD was going back with them yesterday to go to a high school prom with someone she met while she was away last year. (cradle robber LOL) So now it gets interesting

Stay Tuned
Well the sh*t is about to hit the fan with the SD19 and I. Last Thursday night I came home from work after a 14 hr day.( I work 2 jobs) and as I walk into the house I hear her say "I need a flag". So stupid me I ask "What do you need a flag for?" Then comes the bitchy voice telling me " I wasn't talking to YOU!", ok so I say "excuse me" and with the same attitude I get back "you're excused" Ok I know I asked for it didn't I? )*(&#$)(*
I put my stuff down, went up to our bedroom, closed the door and waited until she left the house.

UGHHHHHHHHH
Ok I am so tired of hearing "well she's 19 and too old to change now I can't do anything about it" everytime I tell my DH that I think the SD's behaviour is not acceptable in our house....One of these days I'm going to turn to him and tell him "Yeah well I'm older and harder to change so who do you think should modify their behaviour?" Geez this just ticks me off. That and when the kid was 18 months old some pediatrician told them she was lazy...so now everything is because she is lazy...I keep telling him she's only lazy because you let her be and stop using that as an excuse for her.

Survived
Well I managed to survive the weekend....survive being the keyword here. I figured out a bottle of wine and a few drinks really help!! Unfortunately that's not a solution I want to have to resort to 7 days a week. Since I have 2 jobs it makes it kind of hard to work. I think I'll as for more shifts at the part time job so I won't have to be home as much. The SD better get off her butt and find a job this week. I'm tired of looking at her drooling all over the couch doing nothing already.

Impending Doom
Sigh....only 1 more day of sanity left....the SD comes home from University tomorrow, the next 4 months will be a living hell. Pretty bad when my 9 yr son acts more responsible and mature at times. On the up side I will be moving out to the cottage as soon as I can so I won't have to spend the whole summer listening to how 'perfect' the BM is....funny how the child forgets so easily that she hated the women when they lived together. Pretty easy since she's only seen her BM for a total of 3 weeks in the last 4 years.
