In the midst of all the board drama, DH calls. He had a telephonic hearing about "extra" expenses for his adult daughter.
Gag.
He agreed to pay some of it, like oral surgery and crap. He was NOT going to pay for certain "fun" things. She's an adult.

Of course, BM disagreed and filed a suit.

OF COURSE.

Well, it seems DH had the call in time wrong. So, they issued the judgement IN FULL in default, and now he has to appeal it. Seriously? Is it even worth it?
I'm just so irritated.

Just wanted to say HI!

I'm knucklehead because, well, sometimes I think I was a knucklehead to sign up for stepparenting TWICE.

Sometimes my steps are knuckleheads because...well, because their mother and grandparents encourage it, and DH never had the balls to parent them the way he should have.

Sometimes my bios are knuckleheads...well, because they're teens and it's in the job description.

And sometimes... I call my doggie a knucklehead when he's hell bent on shredding the cat toys.

In light of the events of today, thought I'd share.

Ugh, the combination of stepkids and ILs who are SOFAR up Bm's butt is getting to me!!
I have two adult skids with DH. They both refuse, and have refused, to speak with him since he married me. (Poor, poor BM is alone.)
In the last year, DH has ceased the birthday/holiday gift giving and has resorted to donating to charities in their name.
Loser SS23 can't make it on his own, so he moved from mommy's house to ILs house and has been there for several years. He's a TWENTY-THREE year old man, for Pete's sake!!

Sooo frustrated!!

Adult SD hasn't had a damn thing to do with DH in ages now... yesterday was her birthday and she's been badmouthing him everywhere she can about what a lousy, deadbeat dad she has! Forget the fact he pays for her college and forget the fact that she can't even manage to text him on HIS birthday, but if she doesn't get a gift from daddy, then HE'S the asshole! Grrr!!
