apparently sgs can bounce...

I get off work at 11pm with visions of hot bath dancing in my head. Then I see that DH has called 5x's. SGS has fallen off a bridge on his way home from work. It's a 40' drop. DH wants me to meet them at the hospital. So I race to hospital.

The kid, 21yo, is scraped up, but otherwise ok. He doesn't know how lucky he is. The big question is how does someone sober fall off a bridge.

you broke my fan

So sgs21 told me that he needed a replacement box fan. Seems the housing on my fan that was in his room magically fell apart. I asked how it broke, he had a vague answer. My answer was more direct: I didn't break so therefore I don't have to replace it, you do. He seemed thoroughly confused by the notion.

Remember that adorable couple on the Swiffer commercial? They are not actors and the commercials are unscripted. They're in their 90's and have been together for about 50 years. The met in their 40's when she was tutoring his son. He has 4 kids and she has 2. Blended. They give me hope. Just a happy thought this Sunday morning.

It seems are more BM's in prison for killing their kids than there are SM's in jail for killing their stepkids. Or is there t just media bias. I can think of several BMs but not any SMs. Just a thought.

Don't ya just love it when your dh gets a cold and they think they've got the flu? And they have a project they think needs to be done that day? So dh gets the cold I had the week before. It is a nasty bug and it really messed with my sleep cycle. I was 4 days into it before dh noticed.

So when dh started getting sick it was 'hey drop everything you're doing and cater to me, me, me'. I kept telling him to stay in bed and go to sleep. Best thing to do with this bug. Wish I would have done that.

When trying to figure out what to get sgs12 for his birthday other than a MA rated videogame, he tells me it is wrong to want things or have goals. I don't know what to do with that.
